  1. An independent sample t-test was used to compare differences in mean critical thinking activities of Senior Secondary School students taught using online platforms alongside those taught using conventional approaches. A significant mean difference in critical thinking tendency was found (t = 4.20, p < 0.05). The result revealed that the mean critical thinking of science students taught with online platforms (Mean = 18.92, SD = 1.22) was significantly higher than those taught outside online platforms (Mean = 17.133, SD = 3.055) From the result there is no statistical reason why teaching using online platforms does not improve critical thinking of science students
